So, my friend Chris is closing down his video rental store and liquidating stock. I spent a few hours hanging out there tonight and scored, for a pittance, some of the DVDs that were still on the shelf:

Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, Unrated
Equilibrium
Futurama - Bender's Game
Willard
The Matador

I also came really close to buying Rambo. You know. The new one with Sly all creeped out on 'roids and killing everything that's yellow and moves. In the end, I settled on The Matador, because it seemed like it would be the more rewarding film and I had already satisfied my need for gratuitous bodycount with AVPR. I'm just thankful to have finally replaced my copy of Equilibrium (somehow in the divorce the ex got ALL our Christian Bale movies) and to have picked up the Futurama disc for $5.

Tomorrow is the last day, so I'm going to head back and snag a DVD shelf to replace the hodgepodge of shelves I'm currently using. I might also luck out on some of the straight porn that he doesn't sell, since it's of no interest to him. Not sure how I feel about my first porn DVDs being "6 Black Sticks; 1 White Trick" or "Anal Beauties Vol. 7", but beggars can't be choosers, right?
