Conspiracy of Truth
Flighty as ever, I'm flitting about from one half-conceived project to the next. This time I've decided to gut one of my previously completed circuit bent Arion octave pedals and repurpose the project in some way that makes it more productive to live performances. My goal is to streamline the bends, focusing on only those effects which would be useful, and rehousing it in some way that is conducive to performance. I'll likely focus on eliminating the need for an external sound source and try to turn it into a standalone noise generator. I'm also planning on ditching the original housing (instead of my typical method of bolting the pedal to an extension enclosure) in favor of a more homogenized interface. So far I've succeeded in only gutting the old box and placing the rare innards on what passes for my work table these days. I've been looking at it since Sunday, knowing that eventually I'm going to have to address the issue, but not feeling terribly motivated to do anything about that.
I'd promise pictures, but my phone's camera is pretty pathetic.
